The month of Iyar has some many spectacular connections to stories of the Rebbes in Talmud and I wanted a chance to bring all my study with @svarayeshiva into one of the posters. So this essay is my pitch for why you might try out Talmud study. Our tradition gave us time traveling waves by which we can communicate across thousands of years. Walter Benjamin gave us the concept of “now time” and this months zine explores how now time is all encompassing, allowing us to live the present more fully while also entering the past as active participants and the future as shapers of Olam Haba.
