The poster for the month of Tammuz 5784 is all about making PICKLES a threat to civil society. Featured on the front of the poster design is a quote from a self-styled doctor in the early 20th century who railed against foods of immigrant communities. The essay shares some historical framing on Ashkenazi foodways, assimilation, and a proposal for making pickles a threat once again.

The poster is risograph printed with two-tones of ink at Zygote in Cleveland, Ohio on 11x17. It will ship in July 2024. Proceeds go towards the costs of running the Jewish Zine Archive and supporting the Blacklidge Community Collective, an autonomous community center where JZA is housed alongside various mutual aid projects and revolutionary experiments.
