Iyar Poster/Zine

Iyar Poster/Zine

The sixth in our monthly zine & fold-out poster series is titled "Notes on Suffering & Hope."

The Hebrew text on the poster image is from the final paragraph of U'Nataneh Tokef from the Rosh Hashana liturgy.

The interior text is written by Chava Shapiro and features photographs of dried ranunculus flowers that adorned the Pesach seder tables in their home. The zine addresses issues of grief, suffering, and what sacred texts might offer us in such moments.

Each zine folds out into a 11x17 poster. The interior of the zine also shows other historic photos of the original poster.

This zine is risograph printed by Spina/Novoa in Tucson, AZ. The zine is on a single sheet of 11x17 French Speckletone paper.

All poster proceeds go to the BCCTucson.org - a community center for autonomous experiments, mutual aid, harm reduction efforts, and community-based archiving.
